One of the most enjoyable and gratifying projects Vertere has embarked on was making records. You could even say it was meant to be – Getting introduced to some of the most talented artists and not to mention a world class mastering and cutting engineer. Dedicated to perfection and with the magic of one of the best mastering and cutting engineers, Miles Showell, Vertere Records has brought to life the music of these amazing artists for you to enjoy on highest quality vinyl.

Our own expertise has been enhanced thanks to some special ties with the recording world. Behind the scenes, Vertere is proud and honoured to have contributed in a small way recently to some of the greatest new vinyl release projects.
For example, when re-mixing the Beatles albums, Giles Martin – son of the late Sir George – uses a Vertere MG-1 record player, SG-1 tonearm and PHONO-1 preamplifier throughout for checking and approving acetates and test pressings.
And Miles Showell, vinyl mastering guru at Abbey Road Studios, chose Vertere signal & mains power cables for the cutter-head on his own extensively upgraded Neumann lathe. In short, when it comes to our own recordings, Vertere Label is committed to working with the best in the business, and bringing you the best.

Our Artists
Elles Springs
Elles Springs is a Dutch singer-songwriter who has been playing and performing in the Netherlands for over 15 years. Her songs are pure and heart-warming Country with a little twist of Rock.
Elles’s first album, REVEAL, which was introduced on CD was subsequently taken by Vertere Records in 2017 to be issued on vinyl.
The LP version has been specially Tape transferred and 1/2 speed mastered by Miles Showell. She has already appeared in UK a couple of times and there are more gigs arranged in Holland and an appearances in Germany to launch the new album on Vinyl.
We are Caezar
We are Caezar is Joe Donnelly and JJ Gilmour, both former members of Scottish band The Silencers. They started writing new material in Ireland but then reconvened to Scotland to finish their first project together.
The culmination of this collaboration is to be heard in the new songs they’ve recorded as We are Caezar. Songs that will grab your attention and keep it, songs that will transport you and set you thinking.
Will McNicol
Will’s latest project see’s him collaborating with string quartet, Innotet. Acoustic guitar with string quartet is an instrumentation multi award-winning guitarist and composer, Will McNicol, has dreamed of exploring for years. Through this collaboration with Glasgow-based fiddle player and arranger Innes Watson, those dreams have become a reality. Innotet is the quartet formed specially for this project, and is comprised of some of the finest Scottish musicians in their respective fields: Violin I: Seonaid Aitken Violin II: Innes Watson Viola: Patsy Reid Cello: Alice Allen.
